Content Manager for an E-commerce Company

We are looking for candidates who possess the ability to think both creatively and analytically. Content Manager duties include coordinating projects, producing and publishing content, editing, and proofreading, and formulating content strategies, among other tasks.

The Content Manager should be comfortable finding creative ways of building an online presence, as well as using analytics in the formulation of a content strategy. Here, content is defined as product listings, multimedia articles, blog posts, images, or videos that aid in fostering engagement online.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
- Collaborate with marketing and design team to develop site content, style, and layout.
- Create and publish engaging content
- Edit, proofread and improve the writer’s post.
- Liaise with content writers to ensure brand consistency
- Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics.
- Manage content distribution online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
- Develop an editorial calendar to ensure the content team is on board
- Ensure compliance with the law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
- Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw the audience’s attention

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Proven work experience as a Content Manager
- Expert Knowledge of Amazon, eBay, Woocommerce, and other online marketplace or platforms.
- Proficiency with Graphic Design and basic Photoshop editing.
- Creativity and the ability to develop original content that provokes engagement.
- Hands-on experience with MS Office and WordPress
- The ability to effectively manage a team and time in order to meet tight deadlines.
- Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Excellent writing skills in English
- Attention to detail
- Good organizational and time-management skills
