Expert Web Designer

We are looking for a talented Web Designer to guide the design of our web projects. We are specifically looking for someone who specializes in creating site mock-ups using UI/UX and general design rules, with the ability to implement them. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design.

They will be able to transform them into Professional, Creative, Intuitive, and Functional designs.

Responsibilities

1. Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
2. Conceptualize website design ideas from our standard design process.
3. Create logical navigation flows and design diagrams to present to engineering.
4. Implement designs upon on approval.
5. Design wireframes and full mockups in Adobe XD
6. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
7. Assist with the development of a Web Design Standard Operating Procedure.

Job Requirements:

1. Must have good English communication skills.
2. Must be available full time.
3. Must have access to a reliable internet connection.
4. Must be available by Slack during working hours.
5. Must be able to work 8am to 5pm Pacific Standard Time

Required Experience:

1. 5+ years experience as a web designer.
2. Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
2. Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
3. Proficiency in Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
4. Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
5. Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies

Desirable Traits:

1. The ability to work and problem solve with little oversight.
2. Availability during normal US business hours 8am - 5pm PST.
3. Experience with Adobe XD, Asana, Slack.
