You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of financial transactions and producing monthly management accounts and financial statements. We are a public practice, performing a range of services to a variety of clients, specifically not-for-profit organisations.
Duties
- Managing multiple clients
- Managing all aspects of client Financial Management including undertaking month end processes, consolidations, financial reporting, analysing data and disclosures in accordance with accounting standards.
- Preparation, analysis and reporting of relevant financial information including feasibilities, budgets, forecasts, cost control and cash flows for each project
- Overseeing bookkeepers or support staff on reconciliations, procurement, payroll, expense
Acquittal of funding
- Maintaining fixed asset registers
- Preparation of all audit documentation and liaison with auditors.
Skills and experience
- Degree qualified in accounting
- Role would suit a Financial or Management Accountant with over 10 years experience
- Proficient in Xero, MYOB Advanced, Spotlight Reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
- Ability to apply knowledge of accounting principles, research and resolve issues independently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well organised and have the ability to multitask

Must have reliable computer systems/hardware with camera for video conferencing.
