Cargo and Freight Agent

LONGTERM JOB/FULLTIME (6AM-3PM, PACIFIC TIME)

We are looking for a Cargo and Freight Agent that will be the liaison between our company and its current and potential customers.
The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively contacting customers and answer queries via call and email, and update the database.

Responsibilities
Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls, and emails in a timely manner
Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics
Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions and/or alternatives
Seize opportunities when they arise
Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by going the extra mile
Keep records of all conversations in our database in a comprehensible manner

Requirements
Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
Excellent written skills
Experience preparing and tracking orders
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
Excellent multitasking abilities
