Content specialist with video editing skills

We are looking for a smart, creative, driven, multi-faceted content specialist and video editor with great storytelling ability and strong YouTube experience. We are Upgrade to see actual info, operating for over 16 years, supporting entrepreneurs around the world to be more accountable. You would be expected to share previous examples of your work. Based on the quality and consistently of what you create, expect a raise within 30 days.

This position will include sound, animation, incorporation of text and additional footage into the delivered video recorded script. Having graphic design skills and using Canva is a plus.

Role and Responsibilities
A YouTube Video Editor is responsible for reviewing audio and visual footage and using computer software to organize clips into a cohesive unit. The duties include splitting or combining video clips, adding appropriate sounds, animation and/or graphics and watching the finished product to catch any mistakes prior to submitting it for review.

You will have access to software we provide you and any of your own. We will provide Filmora, Headliner adn HappyScribe

The Video Editor may need to perform:
• Assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading to a computer
• Following a script, screenplay or outline
• Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs
• Inputting graphics to enhance footage
• Digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file
• Improving and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty footage
• Working closely with the team to present a final product that meets the goal/vision

required skills
• Solid understanding of photo, video, and audio editing
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent programs - 2 years experience preferred.
• Strong Time Management to meet deadlines
• Experience working with YouTube
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detailed oriented
• Strong computer skills
