Daily article writer

We are looking for a web content writer fluent in English. You will be expected to write 10-15 articles per week (Upgrade to see actual infowords per article). We will start with 10 per week and work up from there, contingent on your ability to prove a high level of content quality and timeliness. You will need to do extensive topic research, writing, and be able to follow a strict set of formatting and article writing rules/guidelines. Your work will be done directly within our company-wide CMS, where you will be expected not only to write the content but also format it according to guidelines, which means you will need to be proficient in subheadings (H2/H3), image sources/formatting, bolding of keyword and phrases, and more.

Articles will range across different niches, but usually will be focused on games, tech, apps, viral/celebrity topics, and sports. Topics and niches are subject to expansion and shifts over time. We focus on web content across varying websites, so your ability to adapt and shift to changing niches and the need for topics is crucial to your ability to be successful on the team. Experience with a wide range of content niches is preferred, as the content may in the future involve other niches, including but not limited to finance, beauty, lifestyle, travel, health/wellness, and more.

This is a contracted position only (which can be terminated at any time with 30 days' notice by the company), but you will be a part of a team of other contracted writers and editors. Part of your duties includes regular and frequent communication with the editors, as well as the content managers, who will monitor your work performance daily. You're expected to meet your weekly quota - there is some flexibility in how you spread that work out over the week, but you should always meet the end of week deadline. Failure to meet expectations will be held accountable by a 3 strike system, which can lead to termination. Regular feedback and response to feedback are expected. At times, you may be asked to adapt and shift your skillset to modified guidelines, as the standards of content change. This is a position for highly motivated individuals who are willing to improve constantly and take initiative.
