We are looking for a Content Creator with excellent English written and verbal communication skills who will write and publish various types of pieces for our company’s web pages, like articles, e-books, and social media posts.
Content Creator responsibilities include producing marketing copy to advertise products and services, writing blog posts about industry-related topics, and promoting content on social media. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital publishing.
Ultimately, you will help us reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online information about our company and products.
The working shift will be during the day (Philippines time) but you may on occasion need to work night shifts so you can be available during the working hours of our team in the United Kingdom.
The main salary for this position is $550.00 or more per month depending on experience. A monthly performance-based bonus will also be awarded accordingly.
Main Duties
- Research industry-related topics
- Prepare well-structured drafts using digital publishing platforms
- Create and distribute marketing copy to advertise products and services
- Edit and proofread written pieces before publication
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
- Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares)
- Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
- Measure web traffic to content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates)
- Update websites as needed
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
- Time-management skills
- Familiarity with SEO
Skills and Experience - Essential
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Great attention to detail
- Experience with Google Docs, cloud services, and other technology tools
- Knowledgeable in technology to communicate via computer, smartphone, or text
- Highly organized multi-tasker who works well with fast-paced directions and instructions
- Demonstrates excellent time management
- Able to organize and manage large amounts of files, tasks, schedules, and information
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work nights, weekends, extended hours if necessary
