Position Summary

Drafting teaUpgrade to see actual infombers are responsible for utilizing client provided site audits and digital imagery such as Google Earth to provide residential and commercial photovoltaic site plans, electrical plans, structural plans and various details. The complete permit package uses these drafted details in order to complete a submittal to be delivered to the client.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities
Reviewing customer inputs, site audits, and necessary project information
Document, email and update project tracker/software for project progress
Strong working knowledge of the following: Layer management, X-refs, Sheet sets, Drawing scales, Plotting, Plan views, Elevation and Section Details
Manage multiple projects with a focus on project deadlines and customer satisfaction
Reviewing basic project scope of work in order to complete the solar design layout
Drafting system layouts/one-line diagrams/and sitemaps, and staying educated on the latest equipment and industry best practices
Self-proofing work to ensure accuracy before submitting drafts
Maintain good solar design and drafting standards
Work with the Project Management and Operations teams on priority projects to meet Upgrade to see actual infoe CRM to track key project and payment Upgrade to see actual infomunicate with operations, project management and coordination teams about draft change requests
Build drafting catalogs, blocks, and other tools to streamline the drafting process
Other Duties as assigned


Qualification Requirements
6 months of experience in solar
Detailed knowledge of AutoCAD
Basic working knowledge of state, national and International codes and regulations (NEC, IFC)
Ability to read and understand basic PV plansets
Exceptional creative problem-solving and analytical skills
Acute attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Passion to work for a fast-growing, fast paced, world-changing, mission-driven company
Ability to stay organized and maintains project records
Must work well unsupervised and be self-motivated
Proficient in the use of all MS office programs, Google Drive and Team Drive Suite, Google Docs, Google Sheets, All Google Sharing functions, and PDF tools.
Strong computer skills
Physical Demands and Abilities
Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers
Regularly spend long hours in intense concentration reviewing and entering information into a computer
Frequently work in on projects that require deadlines
Equipment Requirements
Expected to maintain a computer workstation and internet connection with adequate speed and storage capabilities and standards to meet today’s fast paced demands in the telecommuting service based industry.
Specific minimum requirements include but are not limited to;
A minimum of 100Gb of free local on-board storage (Preferably a local SSD)
8 Mb of RAUpgrade to see actual infomory
Minimum of two screens or displays
an external mouse if using a laptop
Windows 7 or higher if using windows and a workstation that is clean of any resource depleting viruses or malware.
If you are located in an area that frequently experiences power outages and or dropped internet services, you are expected to procure adequate battery backup and or a secondary means of connecting to the internet such as a cellular hotspot.
