DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE:

We help Canadians with health impairments to qualify and get money for the Disability Tax Credit. We process hundreds of applications per month into the government. You will be responsible for ensuring that the clients understand which steps they will need to take next, including which forms they need to fill out, ensure they schedule and attend an appointment with their medical professionals, and you will need to help educate our clients over the phone about the program should any questions or concerns come up during the application process. Grants International will provide comprehensive training for the right individual.

Your role will involve calling and following up with clients to ensure they are clear on their next steps in the process, ensure any questions or questions they have come up along the process are handled expediently and efficiently, and most importantly that the clients always feel supported and guided through the entire process.

Your role will be to follow our proven system, ask questions, listen intently, answer questions, speak confidently, and establish a plan to help the client complete their application steps in a simple and clear manner.

PAY STRUCTURE AND GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES:

In this position, the starting monthly salary is USD 500 per month depending on your experience, communication ability, and your professional setup (personal work setting vs business center).
In addition to your monthly salary, you will have the opportunity to participate in a team bonus structure for reaching and surpassing monthly targets (available after probation period).
You will be able to earn 2 weeks of paid vacation time after 12 months of service.
Some Canadian Holidays will be granted off or at reduced hours (at the discretion of management).
There is potential to grow within the company as a fully qualified Customer Service Associate.

WORK HOURS:

· Regular office hours take place between Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Standard Time.
· Our Customer Service Team (you) will be required to be available for 5 days per week between Monday and Friday, between 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Standard Time, hours to be established during final hiring stages.
· Customer Service Assistants are expected to put in 50 hours per week.
· Your work schedule will change from time to time but will be posted a minimum of 2 weeks in advance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Taking inbound calls from customers who call in for questions or concerns related to their application.
2. Taking the time to examine the client’s file and all associated notes to become fully accustomed to the client’s situation.
3. Taking and leaving impeccable notes on the client’s file to best collaborate with your colleagues.
4. Managing your follow up list to ensure that you follow up with clients around agreed-upon days and around their medical professional appointments.
5. Using the CRM software to maintain organized client notes, accurate customer contact information and updated status codes.
6. Communicating with clients via email and phone as you deem to be most effective for them.
7. Assisting with various admin related duties as assigned.
8. Participate and prepare for weekly staff meetings and team-building exercises.
9. Work in cooperation and support of other team members.
10. Must be willing and available to work some evenings and weekend days during our busy period in Oct, Nov & Dec. Vacation time is not available during this critical period.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:

- Internet with a Ping time of less than 150ms, minimum internet speeds of 75 Mbps download, and 15 Mbps upload. Please verify your speeds with a Speedtest.net and select a server in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
- A computer with the following minimum requirements: 4GB Ram, Recent version of Windows or MacOS, minimum intel i3 or i5 chip of 1.6Ghz, dual cores.
- Dual computer screens
- Backup internet and backup power source
- A professional noise-cancelling headset
