JOB OVERVIEW

About us:

We are seeking a business savvy Administrative Business Development Assistant / Virtual Assistant with initiative, excellent organisational and communication skills on a full time, ongoing basis for a dynamic, family run consulting firm. We specialise in helping medium-size companies to improve the performance of their sales and business development function. We offer our clients a range of consulting services including: sales training, coaching and leadership development along with a learning and development technology that improves outcomes from classroom-based training.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

1. Researching prospective clients using Linkedin and general web searching.
2. Contacting (prospective) clients to arrange appointments.
3. Website management: uploading content and adding pages as necessary; SEO (Wordpress)
4. Social media: Linkedin (write and manage postings)
5. Develop and manage client database using Excel or CRM software
6. Organising and maintaining office files and systems (i.e. Dropbox)
7. Upload pre-prepared content onto a web-based platform for specific clients (training will be provided).
8. Monitor client participation in web-based programs (training will be provided).
9. Distribute via email a monthly newsletter to clients.
10. Assist with coordination of small events.
11. Prepare and execute service agreements and engagement letters (templates provided).


Skills required / Qualifications:

Office & Administration (Virtual Assistant)
- Well-developed organisational skills, strong attention to detail and advanced competency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Minimum typing speed of 70 wpm
- Proficient with Mail Chimp and Survey Monkey
- Familiarity with BASE CRM would be an asset
- Computer literate and confident learning and using new, web-based software programs.
