SinaiStudios is a video podcast company offering high-quality content, engaging classes, and relevant conversations about Judaism and its' values and messages to a broad audience. The name SinaiStudios is a reference to the mountain where Jews believe God spoke to the nation and gave them the Bible, called Mount Sinai. This company is a project of our community synagogue, called Beth Jacob Columbus.
We are going to be shooting high-quality video podcasts using 2-3 cameras and multiple microphones. The videos are all stationary and will be taking place inside our studio. They will be either single-person classes, or 2-3 person conversations. There really isn't a ton of detailed work involved. The main editing consists of integrating the footage and audio from each angled camera together into a single video experience.
We are looking for someone with a lot of experience splicing and mastering multiple audio and video files. There will also be an intro and outro, as well as some stills and split-screen moments during some of our videos. Our goal is to find someone who understands our vision and can successfully do the post-production for our videos.
We have a few different types of videos in the works currently. Some of our programs are short videos, usually 3-5 minutes each. Others are longer, around 20-30 minutes. Finally, we hope to have a weekly program which may be 60 minutes. Our goal is to be creating about 3-5 videos each week. Part of the project will include creating shorter segments from within longer videos, which can then be shared via social media to a broader audience.
Here are two pretty good examples of the type of final product we are looking for for the 3-5 minute videos:
As you can see, the video is comprised of footage from 2 cameras, along with other scenes and transitions throughout the video, and ending with an outro.
For the longer videos, this is a pretty good example:
We would have a wide-angle shot and 2 tight shots, along with intro, outro and interludes.
At this time, we are looking for someone who is available at a part-time basis and who can work quickly and professionally. I'd love to hear more about your skills as well as your pricing for a position such as this. I'd also be happy to answer any further questions you may have about our project.
