We’re looking to hire a Social Media Advertiser/Manager.

40 hours per week

--What does a Social Media Specialist do?

- The goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap.

- The Social media manager should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. You are responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand and “soft selling” the product by providing support to current and prospective customers.

- This is a sub-contracted, part-time, virtual position, meaning you can work from your home, the coffee shop, favorite vacation spot, or wherever it is you work best to serve our growing list of clients.

We are looking for a driven Social Media Advertiser/Manager to create paid social media ads to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and help convert them into customers.

You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.

As a Social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent analytical and communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle all of our “paid social media campaigns” ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
- Use social media to increase awareness AND build pipeline
- Create and execute social media strategy and tactics that achieve our goals:
- Build followers from our target market
- Increase engagement with our social media posts
- Convert social media engagement into leads and MQLs
- Facilitate LinkedIn engagement between company execs and industry experts
- Develop the brand through content that contains both human interest and business topics
- Maximize value of existing assets by repackaging and repurposing written content and videos, while helping prioritize new content development
- Apply analytics to understand B2B social media trends (what’s working generally) and program effectiveness (what’s working for them)
- Ensure they are using the most appropriate technology to increase efficiency and effectiveness of their social media efforts
- Build strong relationships with our client’s customers, and help them share their stories about working with them
- Increase customer advocacy that validates our client’s solution through success stories, video testimonials, online reviews, referrals, and more
- Manage customer marketing asset development process, and the library of customer assets
- Through the process of developing relationships and new stories, learn what their customers really care about, and share those insights to improve their marketing overall
- Create and manage customer engagement programs, such as user groups, meet-ups, and awards programs

Responsibilities

- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

Requirements

- Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, SEO and landing page development
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
- Fluency in English
- BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
- 2-4 years minimum experience in paid advertising through Facebook, Google Ads and other social media channels.
- Experience with digital marketing and marketing automation a plus (Specifically Infusionsoft/Keap).
- Results-oriented planning and focus (You must reach your goals consistently)
- Impeccable organization.
- Effective Self-management.
- Excellent computer skills including: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, online research, familiarity with Paypal, online sales processes, streaming video, webinars, current social media sites, etc.
- Excellent ability to deal with numbers, spreadsheets and calculations.
- Clear, personable writing style that is persuasive. Copywriting experience is a must.
--You must be able to work under pressure, handle client objections, and be compassionate to their needs and goals, while guiding them to success.
- You must be able to learn effectively from online training courses.
- You must be determined, mature, work well independently, and be responsible.
- You must be available to work primarily on weekdays during normal business hours.
