JOB OVERVIEW

WORDPRESS SPECIALIST

An experienced WordPress person is required to work on developing a new ecommerce, sales and marketing online presence. The business concept, WooCommerce theme, extension and some plug ins have already been identified.

This will be a large and possibly challenging website project that is planned for growth with a high level of daily online transactions.

The end goal is to use the existing theme to build and launch a simple looking, reliable, easy-to-use and well-designed, attractive ecommerce website that is a profitable online growth Upgrade to see actual info requires all-round skills and self-discipline to solve any site development problems, build the robust site, optimize it, test it before launch then progressively refine it and maintain it so that it is easy to use by customers. As much automation as possible is required to be built into the online and customer interaction processes.

Back-end website and social media performance will be measured with analytics, graphs, statistics, viewer conversion rates and email subscriber numbers.

Before this project starts, two smaller and simpler, existing ecommerce businesses need much less work including adding DNS settings to make one of these sites go live and optimizing both sites. These two separate sites will be completed first to clear the way to focus on the larger project.

You will need to be a White Hat, details person with an enquiring mind to be able to research issues if required for the large site to solve any development problems that may arise and come up with efficient solutions as the site is being built and scaled up.

Very good English, communication and regular reporting skills are essential.

This position is part time, 20 hours a week with a possibility of more hours once the larger prototype site is proven to work and other new sites are then created.

A binding Non-Disclosure Agreement is required to be signed at the start by the person appointed to work on this project.

To be considered, please reply with 20OCT20 in the subject line.
