Web Developer -

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

We are website that publishes health and current events articles, and also creates and markets information products related to the content we publish. To service the current growth of our business we are are looking to add a highly skilled and experienced web developer to our team.

POSITION: Web Developer -- Candidate is expected to have knowledge on the following:

PROGRAMMING SKILLS:

PHP Programming Language:
- Framework knowledge (Rails, Django, CakePHP, Symfony, Yii, Codeigniter and a few other MVC Frameworks is a plus)
HTML/DHTML/XML/ CSS:
- HTML5 is a plus
- Knowledge in Document Object Model (DOM) API is a plus
- MySQL
Javascript Programming Language (Applet)
Framework Knowledge (Jquery)
Knowledge in Asynchronous Javascript XML (AJAX)

OTHER SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Wordpress - high proficiency required:
- Creation of an original template coming from a psd layout
- Creation of plugins
- Creation of Widgetized Templates
- Manipulate Functions if needed
Content Management System:
- Familiarity with Maropost (Other CMS knowledge is a plus)
ShoppingCart:
- Familiar or easy to deal with Ultracart/Clickbank
Database Management (Knows how to handle phpMyAdmin)
Layouting (PSD to Templates)
Cross-Browser and Mobile Compatibility coding
Knows and Apply Coding Standards in Programming
An eye for detail and UI design
Highly Analytical
Willing to learn new skills
Can work with minimal supervision
Experience working in team environment
Ability to meet deadlines
Open to working on flexible and graveyard shifts
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
