If you fit this description and can commit 20 hours a week to begin with please continue reading below:

I’m unlike any other partner you’ll work with. (Yes, I’m not your boss, we are partners in this together).

After founding 10+ companies, I know exactly how to keep amazing virtual assistants like you happy, complete projects on budget, and on time. You are in good hands. Let’s have a blast together.

I demand the best work from you. I expect the best from you. You will be challenged. You will grow. And your skills will sharpen. If you like to settle on being average and do average work, this is not your project. Some tasks may seem easy but I expect professional work turned in regardless of the skill level it took to complete.

This does not mean I expect you to work 24/7. This means I expect you to be focused while you work. Not checking email while you work, but blocking off time to complete projects. It means if we have a milestone to meet for our customers, you can muster in a few extra paid hours (if needed) to complete the task, with ample time to rest after.

Here’s what I expect from you:

1. Full time focus on the projects I give you. I don’t want your attention spread, I want you to work solely on my project.

2. To challenge me, tell me I’m an idiot if I’m being one. In other words, don’t blindly listen to me. I’m not your boss, we are partners.

3. You must be a problem solver. Don’t come to me with problems, come to me with a problem and then the potential solutions for the problem. Then we can brainstorm and pick one of the solutions. I don’t expect you to know solutions to problems, I expect you to consult forums and use Google to ?nd solutions to problems on your own. I want a driver, not someone I have to babysit.

4. To be interested in the success of these projects after version 1.0. Version 1.0 will just be the beginning and I’ll need your help after we release the ?rst version.

5. Most Important. This is NON NEGOTIABLE. In the 10+ companies I’ve worked on, here is the most life changing thing I’ve started doing. It will make both you and I very happy working together: You will spend 5 minutes at the end of each workday sending me a daily update. Your daily update will answer 4 questions.
1) How many hours you worked
2) What you accomplished (not what you did, but what you accomplished)
3) What problems you encountered, and
4) What questions you have for me. I will review this immediately every night and answer your questions.

I will not tolerate being left in the dark. I want to know progress every single day you work, and I want a daily update on the days you don’t work. If you didn’t work, just say so in the daily update. This will make me a very happy partner, excited to work with you, and always pay you promptly!

In return for being an a great virtual assistant, here’s what you can expect from me:

1. To be paid on time, every time.
2. To have clear guidelines for the project and features to be made. And if we don’t have them, to discuss them with me until we are clear on them.
3. Fast communication from me when you have questions. 24 hours response time max.
4. To be made semi-famous as I promote our products and you as the key team member who’s helping to make it happen.

Now if this still sounds like you and you can commit 20 hours a week starting out then respond to this post with your resume and why you think you would be the best candidate for the position. Put I’M NOT AN ASSHOLE in the subject line so I know you’ve read though this entirely and you are ready to work together. Pay is negotiable and I reward top performance, but not at first.

At first you will start with a weekly salary of 2,150.25PHP. This can triple within the first six months if you are the partner I am looking for.

I look forward to meeting you.

Best,
Luke
