JOB OVERVIEW

-Summary of Position-

The media buyer will be responsible for setting up and managing Google Ads for a single division of our company. We will provide access to software to maximize your time and achieve the highest possible ROAS for our clients.

The media buyer will be responsible for the entire Google Ads process from setup, management, optimization, and reporting of campaigns. The media buyer will also be responsible for providing insights to further improve the performance of the campaigns.

The media buyer will not be responsible for any communication with the client. They will be working closely with the account manager to provide insight and reports on how the campaign is performing. This position is fully remote.


-Qualifications-

Required:
-Proven portfolio with references available.
-Independent and relentless in the pursuit of results and growth.
-In-depth understanding of current digital marketing trends, lead generation techniques, and keyword research and planning software.
-Proficiency with Google Ads, Analytics, Tag Manager, and installation of tracking code.
-Proficiency in keyword/ad group management and planning software like AORI, Fiuti, PPCkit, or similar.
-Cannot rest unless they exceed goals by at least 10%.
-Loves to test and experiment to find new ways to achieve results.
-Must be available to meet weekly via Zoom.

Preferred but not required:
-Experience working within a digital agency.
-Proficiency in the entire Google Suite (Sheets/Docs/Slides).
-Experience using project management software (ClickUp/Asana).
-Experience providing reports via Upgrade to see actual infot necessary:
-Formal degrees in marketing. We believe in track records over certifications.


-Primary Duties-

The media buyer is solely responsible for managing Google Search Ads for accounts with ad budgets from $1,500-$3,000 USD per account for a single division of our company. You are expected to eventually become an expert in one industry, from setup to management, optimization, providing insights, and reporting of campaigns. It is expected that the media buyer will stay up to date with all the latest trends and techniques in terms of lead generation and search campaigns. There will be a budget for further education and development of your professional abilities.

Account Setup:
Once a new client has been onboarded, the successful candidate will then be expected to:
-Perform market/forecast research
-Perform keyword research
-Design campaigns using SKAG software
-Campaign configuration (ad groups, keywords, ads, extensions, locations, schedule, negatives, devices, demographics)
-Liaise with account manager to provide insight on landing page design
-Integration and configuration of Google Ads, Analytics, Tag Manager, and tracking code for the provided landing pages

Management and Optimization:
After the account has been set up, the media buyer will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and optimization of each account. The successful candidate will be able to:
-Work closely with the account manager to further optimize campaigns
-Perform daily optimization
-Search term monitoring
-New keyword suggestions
-New negatives suggestions
-Bids (CPC) suggestions
-Budget monitoring
-Quality score/average position monitoring
-A/B testing as needed
-Copywriting for Google campaigns
-Successfully meet lead quotas for each account
-Successfully meet CPL targets for each account
-Be able to course-correct when accounts are behind their lead quotas and/or CPL targets
-Pinpoint areas to improve conversion rates for ads and landing pages and be able to provide actionable suggestions for other team members

Reporting:
The successful candidate will be able to:
-Work within our dashboard to report KPI’s weekly
-Create month-end report via DashThis or equivalent to compare results to previous month, and to provide suggestions for the next month on how to improve campaigns


-Time Commitment-

To start, a rough estimate of the time required will be 10-20 hours/week. The hours will scale to full-time hours as we grow this individual division. This position would be for a minimum of 6 months.


-Compensation-

The compensation will be a base rate of $900CAD/month (~$30,000 PHP) for the management of up to 3 accounts. You will be compensated $300CAD/month ($11,000 PHP) for every additional account thereafter.
