Job Description: Podcast Editor

Seeking support with compiling together the shownotes, quotes, and summary facts for a podcast with a new podcast every week. I currently have a number of interviews that are ready to be edited and put onto mass media.

We run a women's health group and are would prefer a lady who is interested in women's health, but we are open to men as well :)

Recorded Inputs
All components are currently recorded through Zoom
Inputs include
Intro music
Intro Debrief of Speaker
Video Interview with Speaker (these will typically be 1.5 - 3 hours long - they are long form discussions)
Outro

Deliverables
Reviewing the interview and pulling out the key components
Shownotes with timestamps
Quotes
Vocabulary
Key information
Creating the IG posts with the summary information when it’s released
Clipping together the snippet audio for relevant social media channels (IG)


Job Frequency / Turnaround Time
We are looking for someone to work with long term, develop a repeatable process so that we can have 1-2 podcasts a week with these long form discussions and have shorter clips pulled together
48-72 hour turnaround time after providing all the info

Requirements
Proven video editing experience and Youtube uploading
Proficient with video and audio editing software
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete work by a deadline.
The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Good analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
Understanding and ability to use Notion, Canva, Instagram, and audio editing software

Hours / Week: Assume Hours / Week: Assume 10 hours to start, and then consistently 1-2 podcasts a week

Duration: 1-3 months initially, looking to find a good long term team member
