Video Editor - Visual Storyteller

Hi. My name is Craig and I'm the founder of Lightchasers, a film and photography company based in Christchurch, New Zealand. We're looking for an awesome video editor to join our small team. New Zealand is back up and running pot COVID, and so I'm back out filming, and there is an editing backlog starting to build up, so I'm looking for someone to come and download footage to edit on, and then upload the completed edits to our Vimeo Account, work through any changes and send me the completed project files back.

Required Technical Skills/Experience are
- Basic video editing (distilling content, crafting a storyline that is immersive, but also succinct, compelling, and continuous)
- Multicam editing
- Syncing audio and video
- Adding titles, sound design and other branded element.
- Colouring / Grading

I work in Final Cut Pro X, but I really don't mind what software you edit in.

The following are really important to the culture of our business.
- Competent and experienced with Adobe CC, Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier Pro & After Effects
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn
- Great time management skills and ability to work to deadlines
- Video Marketing is a definite advantage
- Excellent communication and able to fit well into our little team

You must have a fast and reliable internet connection, and be able to speak English really well.
