Remote SOFTWARE ARCHITECT

Requirements:

At least 3+ years’ experience architecting and designing web-based programs
7+ years of professional experience coding with PHP
Strong understanding of SQL database design and concepts.
Strong abstract & conceptual thinking skills
Strong understanding of the object-oriented and object-centered design and programming
Experience with DevOps concepts and continuous integration tools including setting up builds and deployments to web and database servers
Solid understanding of database design, implementation, and interaction from code
Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Must have exposure in SDLC, Agile
Must have integration background (API), and have built external APIs for use by external parties

Essential Skills:

5+ years Senior Software development - including code review, mentoring juniors
Must have experience working on complex SaaS platforms or applications, especially software that incorporate analytics, mathematics, or similar complexity
Experience working with remote/offshore team members


Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for an innovative PHP Engineer that will take charge of leading fellow developers, while also contributing your own code. This is not a managerial position, but we are looking for someone to help organize our infrastructure, make application design decisions, and help out where needed.
