Copywriter/Blogger

The Relationship School is seeking an experienced copywriter/blogger to help support our mission of helping others to create safe, sexy, successful relationships. You will support our marketing department in writing emails and blogs that attract more people to our programs. You'll need to adopt Jayson’s voice on all emails and blogs and edit them effectively and efficiently, with a goal of increasing our open rates and click through rates of our emails by 3%.

Your primary role is to write emails and blog posts for the School. If it goes well, you may begin to write sales copy and sales letters.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

*You'll need to be available to attend a weekly marketing meeting
*You'll be managed by our Project Manager and receive training from our CEO (Jayson)
*You'll listen to podcasts before they go live, and write up a short summary for social media and email promotion
*You'll write promotional emails that make students want to be a part of what we're doing
*You'll proofread and edit emails written by other team members
*You'll proofread Jayson’s curriculum and workbooks for workshops
*If you prove yourself, you'll write sales copy for sales pages and sales letters
*Write promo copy for IG and FB posts that promote events and webinars
*In Jayson’s voice, write 1 blog post per week using YouTube videos as an outline
*You'll work with our social media person to post blog posts across all social channels
*You'll help us move popular blog posts from Upgrade to see actual info to Upgrade to see actual info
*You'll find photos for blogs on Unsplash, and have a system for keeping track of photos we’ve used so we don’t double use them

Requirements
*Must be willing to work in US time zone hours
*Regular zoom calls with Jayson during training
