Web Designer (REMOTE)

Kicking Pixels is a boutique agency based in Sydney, Australia. We have experienced significant growth over the last 12 months and continue to see regular demand for our custom designed and build websites.

We currently have people working in Serbia, Philippines and Australia, and we would like to add to the team ahead of the curve to ensure we continue to provide our clients the quality websites they have come to expect from Kicking Pixels.

We are looking for a senior website designer to work on custom designed & built websites.

Applicants must have a good understanding of UX and a keen eye for detail, while working within brief parameters. Being able to understand the build of WordPress custom sites is important in order to deliver designs which will enable builds to be undertaken within the client's budget.

You will be required to provide wireframes as the first step for client review, followed by designed in Figma or AdobeXD and passed on to the developers for the next stage. The ability to take on client feedback and amend your work is essential.

Being a fluent English speaker is essential in order to fully understand briefs and feedback within the team.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Good understanding of UX and a keen eye for detail
• Good understanding of responsive design
• Experience with WordPress websites
• Fluent in English, written and spoken

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• AdobeXD
• Figma


If you are interested in working with our company, you will be required to undertake a small testing task. This will then be reviewed internally and applicants passing to the next step will have a phone/video interview.
