Full Time Wordpress Designer

Description: We’re looking for someone to help us build our website in WordPress. Under creative direction from our Marketing Manager, you’ll build out the pages on the website using Elementor and make sure they both look amazing and are usable on both web and mobile.

About Us: RocketDoctor allows patients across the USA and Canada to book an appointment with a doctor online in just a few minutes. Our doctors see patients via a secure audio/video telemedicine platform.

Skills You Should Have
1. Experience with WordPress including
- WYSIWYG editors like Elementor
- WordPress Plugins
- Change theme colours, fonts, and building global headers/footers
2. Understanding of basic HTML / CSS, and knowledge of how to make websites responsive across devices
3. A keen eye for design and detail

Some Examples Of What You’ll Do On A Daily Basis
- Building beautiful looking new Wordpress pages using Elementor to add to our website
- Edit margins and padding of elements for mobile responsiveness
- Build CSS classes for elements and setting theme colours for elements for easy future editing
- Create page variations with different fonts and show them to the marketing team
- Test different colour schemes (change hex codes) and show them to the team
- Find stock photos/illustrations to add character to sections of our website
- Add and format custom HTML and WP forms to pages, and embed / customized other survey tools (e.g. Jotform, Typeform)
- Edit button shapes, CTAs, and colours
- Build / edit footers & headers
- Create and embed email optin popups with Sumo
- Setting up the blog/content portion of the website including
- Sidebar widgets (design and add them)
- Add an optin form/button with CTA to book an appointment to the bottom of posts
