Virtual assistant for small digital marketing business

I am the owner of a small digital marketing consultancy and I am at the stage where I need some extra hands. I am still very hands on with my business and my clients are used to dealing with me. I provide the strategic direction but needing some extra hands in terms of execution as I understand that I am the bottleneck in my business right now.

I am looking for someone who understands how to take direction, but knows how to ask questions if something isn’t clear. You can never ask too many questions in my book and it is more than welcomed. After understanding the business some more, it would be great for you to take the initiative and run with small projects.

Tasks will be along the lines of:
- Creating social media posts in Canva
- Social media post scheduling and posting
- Updating Shopify websites with copy changes (I will show you how to do this) - ideally you have Shopify experience
- Admin tasks such as creating spreadsheets, data input for things like my expenses
- Able to create reports after I show you how to create them and where to pull the data from
- Ensuring that I am also following up with clients and making me aware of things to do and clients I still need to get in contact with
- General admin tasks and some personal admin tasks

*** Bonus points if you know how to navigate your way around Facebook Ads Manager (or are willing to learn) ***

Other things if its suitable would be things like posting blogs up on the blog, keeping a content calendar together, that sort of thing.

I pretty much just need a generalist who is willing to jump in and help. There are big tasks and small tasks. I just need some extra help.

Obviously, there will be more than just this, but I’m after someone who is willing to learn. I don’t mind if you don’t know exactly how to do something, as I can show you. But I do need someone who has a willingness to learn and has attention to detail and a clear grasp of the English language. I need somebody who is proactive because I am running around trying to do a million things and because of this, things fall through the cracks.

If you have an interest in digital marketing but may not have the experience, then this may be the job for you. The tasks will be very admin based to begin with as that is where I need the help, but you will be exposed to Facebook Advertising, Social Media Management, Marketing Strategy, so if this is an avenue you want to pursue, you may be the candidate for me.

I also need someone who can keep me accountable and has a high attention to detail. You will prove this by including the secret code "737" in the subject line of your application. There are a lot of things to do in my business, so any processes or suggestions to streamline things will be very welcomed.

Ideally looking for someone who wants to grow and develop with the business.

Salary is dependant on experience. If you don't tick all of the boxes, that's ok. I am looking to work with the right person and can help train you so please apply if you are eager, proactive and willing to learn.
