Fact-Checker of an English-language USA history textbook

I need someone to investigate the accuracy of claims made about American history in a textbook. You will need to have a very good understanding of written English and the mind of an investigative reporter. You need an Internet connection that can access sites in the USA reasonably well.

The work could become full-time or part-time, depending on your preference, though I would try out several of you, and there is a chance that I cancel the project before it even starts. Let's start of with an hour of work and go from there.
