Our company is The Sun Emporium. We are a "Tanning & Wellness" salon located just north of Toronto, in Barrie, Ontario. We have two locations and also an online store. We are a VERY fun and personable brand, and like to have fun with our clients. We offering tanning, spray tanning, cocoon wellness pod and also red light therapy. We are looking for a full time Social Media Manager for our social media Upgrade to see actual info
Currently we are only on FB, IG, Twitter (not currently used) & TikTok (just started).

Social Media Manager Position

- MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring our Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales.
- Performing research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Create daily original content to be posted to our social media channels - this includes our products and services that we sell (over 100)
- Create and work from a content calendar to ensure posts are made every day
- Responsible for posting promotional posts (sales, promotions etc.)
- Proven work experience as a Social media manager
- Hands on experience in content management
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
- Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries within 2 hours (between 9am-9pm EST M-F and 9-6 on Sat/Sun) and monitor customer reviews
- Ensure to acknowledge all comments made, and answer those that require answering.
- Oversee social media accounts’ design - with our graphic designer (e.g. Facebook Upgrade to see actual info cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
- Source influencers on IG in order for us to send sample products too
- Find complimentary pages and like and comment on their content
- Like images from clients IG feeds (those we follow)
