Position Summary
First, you should be a great communicator. We’re looking for an expert WordPress theme configurator, and plugin integrator (with maybe some simple custom plugin development), that would rather use drag-n-drop, box-checking, and a color-picker, but also doesn’t mind getting “their hands dirty” and adjusting some mobile-friendly CSS (or PHP or Javascript/jQuery) manually on rare occasion. You should know WordPress, Bootstrap, and Google Analytics very well.

You’ll be expected to build out designed websites using theme builders as stated above. We sometimes build out complex solutions that involve configuring multiple plugins to work well together - sometimes with a little bit of custom PHP (small custom plugin or small script in Upgrade to see actual infop).

We love using Enfold (over 200 websites built), Divi (over 90 websites built), and we’re looking to get into LiveCanvas (Upgrade to see actual info - we already have a lifetime license but no builds - yet).

While you’re not building out new websites for our clients with our provided designs & copy, we’d like your help with improving our own SEO and Google Analytics tracking. Ideally, I like to see a 30% improvement in leads generated by our website(s) over the next 6-12 months.


First task
We're asking you to build a new website for a company we've contracted with and been working with to approve designs and copy already. The files are nearly ready to go and just need mobile designs approved for the subpages.

We will provide:
staging server (probably will be Upgrade to see actual info or similar - will share access with LiveCanvas installed if we like your estimate and agree to our terms.
wireframe
ready-to-build designed pages (includes approved copy with proper case & punctuation all set)
theme
drag & drop builder (LiveCanvas)
Expectations & Terms:
a) use the theme builder and assets as much as possible

b) avoid writing custom HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, or PHP

c) expected timeline is 8-10 business days

d) regular communication - during any active project, please send me an email at the end of the day with:

A) What you finished today

B) What you are working on next (tomorrow or the next time you are planning to work for us)

C) Do you need anything from me? (anything holding you up?)
e) REMEMBER: Every line of code is an asset AND a liability!


We have a weekly team meeting every Monday at 9:30am PT, so we’ll want to be updated before that - either at the end of the previous week or first thing Monday morning (or over the weekend, but that seems unreasonable).

Communication is Key
I live on Hangouts and Discord and Slack... do you happen to use any of those?
We use Basecamp 2 for managing project tasks and due dates.
