JOB OVERVIEW

Looking for bookeeper/ accountant who will keep track of all my business expenses. I have a property renovation business. We renovate 5-10 houses at one time. Budget and Expenses need to be tracked for each property. Must know tax benefits and must be able to complete taxes annually for the united states IRS. You must be familiar with local federal and state tax codes and able to save the business money through tax Upgrade to see actual infoNDIDATES MUST HAVE:

*EXCELLENT BOOKKEEPING EXPERIENCE IN CONSTRUCTION and QUICKBOOKS USAGE
*Optimize the structure and settings of the software under construction business needs
*Managing all aspects of accounts
*Preparing purchase orders in accordance with requests for materials
*Creating invoices to charge our clients for services, tracking and organizeing invoices and keeping track of income and expenses for multiple lines of business. T
*Handling client invoices by recording and approving or denying the payments
*Recording financial transactions and handling accounts payable and receivable
*Sales and purchase ledger
*Reconciliations, bank and credit cards, suppliers
*Appropriately coding payables to prepare them for the accountant's input later
*Researching and complying with federal, state, and local requirements
Responsibilities
9. Maintain orderly financial filing system by scanning, filing and organizing records.
1. Complete bank reconciliations daily and monthly.
5. Accurately entering journal entries.
8. Create and update spreadsheets for tracking and Upgrade to see actual infocation and Professional Qualifications

1. Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office products including Word, and Outlook. Must be intermediate, or higher, user in Excel;

2. Must have quick typing skills, 40 WPM or higher preferred;

3. Ability to multitask which requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality. Must be able to adapt in a changing work environment with a positive attitude;

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a process improvement-oriented mindset.
To be successful, candidates will need proven working experience as a Bookkeeper and be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge of accounting principles/procedures and data entry skills. Accountancy qualifications will also be required for this role. Must gave experience with quickbooks.
