JOB OVERVIEW

Do you have an interest in becoming an Entrepreneur? Do you want to learn how to run a global e-commerce business from the comfort of your own home or anywhere in the world? We are looking for someone who eventually will become our client's Chief Operating Officer for his portfolio of e-commerce companies (i.e., my Number Two).

The ultimate goal is for you to work alongside the CEO to eventually grow our portfolio of e-commerce websites so I need someone who has the commitment, desire, and the will to be an Entrepreneur.

Skills and attributes you will need to be successful in this role:
- Have e-commerce experience (selling products online for yourself or another e-commerce company)
- Have an understanding of website technology --how it works, what its components are (code, database, server, etc.)
- Have a general understanding of what SEO is and its importance to an e-commerce business
- Have an understanding of content management systems
- Project management experience
- Experience managing people
- Ability to effectively multi-task
- Ability to manage multiple projects from scoping to completion
- Be extremely organized
- Be detailed-oriented
- Basic knowledge of excel (be able to perform calculations and create formulas)
- Experience managing a developer (desirable, but not required)

Job responsibilities will include, but not limited, to the following:
- QA all technical projects and bug fixes
- Learn and manage all aspects of our custom e-commerce platform
- Review all website issue tickets, categorize, and analyze how to address
- Supervise the team which consists of 4 customer service representatives, 1 website manager, 1 website developer, and miscellaneous contractors
- Help the customer service team solve technical issues. You won’t have to code but should be comfortable with diagnosing technical issues and giving them to the developer.
- Perform analysis on competitors (such as pricing, product mix, etc.)
- Execute special projects for the CEO (e.g., research and provide an overview of a Google update)
- Maintain operations manuals and fully document procedures using "how-to" videos and written manuals
- Create business reports on a weekly and monthly basis
- Onboard new vendor relationships
- Provide daily reports and updates to the CEO
- Basically all daily operations to become our COO
