I'm a freelancer who does programming / web / app development projects is scaling up into an Agency, and I need someone to send proposals to jobs available on Upwork for my agency :)
This is a job that only I've been doing. It takes me a lot of time considering I have to literally run and build every other part of my business, so I'm looking for help.
EXPECTATIONS:
Required Skills:
1. You must be able to write and understand fluent English.
2. You must have a good attitude towards potential customers.
3. You must be easy to talk to and be willing to learn / improve your communication skills, and I'll be your teacher.
4. You must be able to communicate well and be a good team player.
6. You must always want to improve or learn new things to grow with me and the team. You shouldn't expect that you're solely going to be in 1 position.
7. You must have a webcam that connects to your computer for Zoom calls.
8. Super duper bonus points if you have a good sense of humor and are fun / easy to work with.
Skills you'll learn on the job:
Primary:
1. Clear communication
2. Sales / Proposal sending on Upwork
Secondary (optional for more opportunities to increase pay and value):
1. Automation / Data Science / Web Development
2. Working with a team
3. The ins and outs of creating a working company and how to visualize it through various process and system maps
4. Epic communication skills
5. Many more (I want your success as much as I want my own.)
Your job:
1. Login to Upwork through the agency account
2. Find quality jobs that match our developer team's skillsets (I'll train you on how to do this)
3. Send proposals to them (I'll train you how to do this)
4. Report to me how many proposals you sent on working days we've discussed.
That's it.
This is an IMPORTANT position that, without it, will result in lack of clients willing to work with me and our team (the one that you're wanting to be a part of). No proposals = No clients = No money for anyone (including myself).
Hours & Payment:
I'm just getting started, so initially it'll look like this:
• This is a part time / freelance position that will probably be about a $2-5 USD /hr until there is a steady stream of clients.
• As you become more comfortable and confident with your initial tasks, eventually I'll find more work I can train you on and you'll be able to complete. It'll likely go up depending on the level of tasks I'm able to get you to do, or you have the option to stay where you're at in terms of skill, though preference will go to those willing to learn more and are eager to get paid more by providing more value to myself and the agency. There is definitely opportunity to scale into full time positions.
Other Expectations:
1. You'll be working closely with me (online of course) and at first, and will be expected to join weekly team calls (even if at the beginning it's only me and you).
2. We use Wrike for project management.
3. We use Slack, Gmail, and Zoom for communications.
4. We'll be tracking time using Harvest.
5. My favorite color is blue.
6. My initial goal is create a successful freelancing business that produces $4.3k USD a month USD.
7. I'll ask you to send some initial test proposals
COMPANY VALUES:

3. Invent and Simplify
