Desktop Application Programmer

Job Summary
LinkTek Corporation provides the world's leading data migration solution for the management and automatic repair of broken file links found within most common file formats including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SQL, Visio, Acrobat, AutoCAD, MicroStation, HTML, Windows shortcuts and more. LinkTek's solution is designed for enterprises to maintain data integrity and avoid data loss during data migrations.

This is a full-time remote contractor position. Timings will be 9 am EST till 5:30 p.m. EST (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities and Duties
This is a desktop application programmer position. **Please apply only if you have experience with programming Windows desktop applications.** Also, only individual contractor and not companies may apply
SaaS, mobile applications, and full-stack experience are **NOT** relevant for this position.

What you will do:
* You will design, develop, debug, test, and maintain high performance multithreaded **Windows desktop applications** for the enterprise customer.
* Drive the initiatives on architecture, design, and technical stack recommendations.
* Create high-level and low-level design documents.
* Write automated Unit, Integration, and Acceptance Tests

C#, WPF, WCF, Caliburn.Micro MVVM, .NET

Required Experience and Qualifications
* 5+ years of software development experience shipping enterprise products
* In-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
* Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
* Expert knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), and SQL
* Experience with test automation, writing unit tests, and test-driven development.
* Solid understanding of version control systems such as SVN, Git etc.
* BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry Upgrade to see actual infot a requirement but bonus points if you have:

* Worked on UI (user interface) and frontend code.
* Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and pipelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $36,000.00 to $66,000.00 /year
