JR Javascript Node Backend Developer

Rubix is in search of a part time / Full time - Back end Javascript / Typescript Node Developer.

Summary:

The candidate will be responsible for the development of an analytics platform which interfaces with several digital marketing platforms. The application will bring the data from the customer’s marketing stack into one seamless dashboard. While we like all developers on our team to have some experience with general Javascript front-end development, node back-end development and general relational databases . The ideal fit for this role will be someone with emphasis on back end development and API research and integration.

Heroku - Hosting - Moving to AWS
Express - Server Framework
Axios for api calls
LTS
Jest for testing
Knex for DB migration
Eslint & Prettier & HTML-Lint for linting

Duties:

Work with a team dedicated to the design, development and delivery of a cutting edge marketing analytics reporting platform, with machine learning forecasting & insights.

Collaborate closely with stakeholders, designers and product owner and other developers on the team.

Has ownership of Integration API research and possibly development.

Ensure acceptance requirements are met throughout development efforts
Uses continuous development process while maintaining confidence in application rigidity and stability.

Writes and conducts Unit Tests for each commit - Has strong testing based development philosophy.

Strong Ability to work remote / with other remote Upgrade to see actual infoe of worktools such as ClickUp, Slack, & Gsutie

Familiarity or Mastery over One or more would stand out:

Solid JavaScript development experience
Experience w/ TypeScript
NodeJS w/ Express
React Framework
PostgreSQL (or equivalent)
Heroku/AWS (or equivalent)
Experience with modern JavaScript development tooling such as:
NPM/Yarn
Unit testing frameworks (ex. Jest, Mocha)
E2E testing frameworks (ex. Cypress, WDIO, Puppeteer)
Build tools (ex. Parcel, Webpack)
Familiarity with CI and CD development workflows

20+ hours available weekly to dedicate to this project on an ongoing basis. Potential for this to grow as the project grows.
