We are currently recruiting Anime Writers. Payment by per article.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

- Please do not apply unless you are serious in writing about anime and keep up to date or at least keep tabs on new releases.
- You should be personally passionate and familiar with anime. You read Reddit, you watch anime, you read manga and light novels.
- You are excited and can’t wait to jump to the manga after a season ends.
- There should be no copied content. You could use ideas for your inspiration and build on it.
- Clear, relatable, and fun writing, just like how a friend and neighbor would like to share his experience on something he had learnt. (This is a big deal! The less time we have to spend cleaning up your writing, the more assignments we’ll give you)
- Your article may have to have your own opinion and style.
(i.e. Typical writer: When xxx died, it is so sad and hard breaking that you have to watch xxx.
You: Moral of the story: Don’t get too close to the main character if you are just a sidekick. You would just be killed off for the main character’s growth)
- Can handle an editing process of communicating back and forth as well as taking constructive criticism from their editor and growing from it.
- Researching current market trends and topics that are attracting high engagement. You should have a good guess of which anime would be popular each season before the season begins.
- Wordpress knowledge is a must. You are expected to upload your content and images, have proper citations, headings, meta titles and descriptions.


SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:

- You should have a passion for anime (Something stirred in you when you hear someone say anime is cartoon) and writing
- At least 1 Year of experience writing long form content either for news sites or blogs.
- Organized and meticulous. Have a eye for detall and should be able to spot the error in this job posting.
- Reply in your chat the error you spotted and start the subject heading as "I am your perfect writer"
- Preferably candidate with Mass Communications, Journalism or Editorial experience
- Tech savvy and familiar with Wordpress
- Stable internet connection is a MUST.

- Knowledge in the card game YU-GI-OH is a plus
