Job Description
We are looking for capable IT personnel to support the operations of the company’s server administration and various cloud computing assets. The service desk coordinates the provision of IT support services for the company’s sales, marketing and engineering teams and ensures uninterrupted operation of our software services for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot service reliability problems and document technical procedures as necessary
- Respond to system outages and maintenance needs
- Resolves technical escalations and provides recommendations for performance improvements
- Research and provision new systems to enhance the organisations capabilities and service reliability
- Monitor server performance and ensure up-time and usability
Qualifications:
Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience with AWS
- Troubleshooting in Linux, Apache, Nginx, MySQL, etc.
- Experience with IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and firewalling concept
- Experience in GSuite and Office 365 Administration
- Experience with Cloudflare and Wordpress hosting and administration
- Exposure to patching tools and deploying updates
Other Requirements:
- A graduate of Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related studies
- At least 2 years of working experience as a server administrator
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet hard deadlines
