Web Developer with Background in Graphic Design (Posted 2/20)

We are looking for an expert Web Developer to work with a US based company. The perfect candidate will be able to work in common coding languages (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, etc.) and utilize their existing skills to build and maintain customer websites primarily on Hubspot CMS or Big Commerce. There will also be some graphic design that will be needed and may require creating or editing images and designing web pages with graphics.

Must be able to work from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM PST (Los Angeles) which is graveyard shift, 12:30 AM to 9:30 AM PHT (Manila)

Offered Salary is PHP 30,000.00-40,000.00 PHP Monthly Depending on Experience (DOE)

Responsibilities:

Build Websites: We are looking for someone who can work with our customer success team to quickly and accurately build websites using Hubspot CMS and Big Commerce.

Create Landing Pages/Microsites: Many of our clients need specific landing pages and/or microsites for their marketing and advertising campaigns. This will be done using Hubspot.

Basic Programming: You will need to be comfortable with PHP, Javascript, Jquery, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, and SCSS. You probably won’t create a lot of pages or sites from scratch, but you’ll need a good foundation in order to be effective.

Web Support: You will work on optimizing our clients’ websites for speed, configuring and troubleshooting. You’ll also be responsible for making sure that our clients’ sites are search engine friendly and mobile responsive and that they work correctly across various browsers.

This role is expected to bring an eye for design along with practical web development abilities. You will work closely with our strategists, designers, customer success managers, project managers, and other internal stakeholders to bring to life our client’s brand, product information and collateral, and other website content.

Big Commerce responsibilities
• Update product descriptions and attributes
• Create / Edit / Code product and category pages
• Photoshop product photos to fit / scale correctly
• Bulk update product descriptions from xls
• Insert tracking codes / short codes

Hubspot Responsibilities
• Create/Design/edit page, blog and landing page templates
• Create/Design CTA
• Update content
• Update menu / headers / footers

Requirements:
• BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
• 1-2 years of design / development experience.
• Strong background with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SCSS and HUBL
• Domain knowledge on UI/UX best practices. You are a problem solver with everything you develop to improve the user experience and drive results.
• Skilled in different web development frameworks including Foundation and Bootstrap.
• Skilled in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Personal interest in staying up-to-date on the latest trends, including agile methodology and emerging best practices in the UI community.
