You will help define the look of a brand and convert the visions of the clients into intricate and eye catching
Typical activities include:
1. Liaising with clients to determine their requirements and budget.
2. Working with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, publish and timescales.
3. Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size.
4. Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief.
5. Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required.
6. liaising with in-house and external advertisers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material delivered is of the highest quality.
Qualifications and training
1. We expect a good knowledge of design software, such as InDesign, Illustrator, & PhotoShop.
2. Conceptual knowledge and a streak for thinking out of the box.
3. Time management and organisational skills with accuracy and attention to detail in terms of time and the work presented.
4. An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.
