Content Writer

Job brief

We’re looking for an energetic, motivated, and tenacious individual well-versed in producing a variety of content formats including:
- Blog posts
- Marketing collateral
- Website copy

You must have a stellar track record of producing well-researched and error-free articles that engage, inform, and delight audiences. All content should be original and not regurgitated from the internet. We’d love to hear from you if you have an eye for detail and passion for writing copy within tight deadlines.
Part of the responsibilities for this role include brainstorming new topic ideas and using SEO tools to firm up the copy (we will provide access to the software).

Responsibilities
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
- Submit work to editors for input and approval
- Sourcing & Including images that further illustrate your point
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Update website content as needed

Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Ability to meet deadlines
