Ransomware Recovery Expert

We are looking for a person who can relate to the pain that victims of ransomware experience. You need to be able to channel that pain you witness in the victim into a tenacious and focused recovery effort that results in successful outcomes every time. The persons best qualified for this job a smart, creative and results oriented problem solvers in IT. Experience working in IT system administration, IT security, backup recovery and ransomware recovery are essential skills required. Specifically understanding Windows system administration, Active Directory, software patching, antivirus software, VMware, firewall rules, network routing, VLANs, multi-factor authentication, popular backup and recovery technologies, email spam/malware filtering and writing automation scripts are essential skills that will be employed as a member of this ransomware recovery team. The more of these skills you have the more valuable you are to the team.

This will be a full-time job, but hours can be unpredictable as ransomware infections are a random occurrence. When it does happen you need to view the job as an exciting opportunity to jump into a volatile situation that will change from hour-to-hour as the recovery effort ensues. Some days you might not work much, followed by other days where you are need to work 20 hours per day for several days until the client is rescued from ransomware. You must be available reliably on short notice to jump in and help. If you can't do that you are of no help to the victim. We need Ransomware Recovery super-heroes who respond when help is desperately needed.
