VA WITH WORDPRESS, SEO AND ONLINE MARKETING EXPERIENCE

We are an independent small business that sells high quality products to customers all over Australia. We are a fun, young team that has established a recognised brand over the last 7 years of business. We have focused primarily on wholesale B2B however we are giving more focus into building our online presence and B2C ecommerce sales.

THE ROLE
We are looking for a freelance WordPress master with experience in building and customising Wordpress websites and to act as a " troubleshooter" to analyze and optimize our Wordpress website. Daily tasks will generally include keeping websites updated, technical support, web design/development, and implementing any needed changes, new features and improvements to our Wordpress website.

ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 5 years experience with Wordpress development with some exposure to manipulating plug-ins
- Experience with collaboration tools like Google Docs / Sheets, Trello etc
- Good attention to detail
- Willingness to consider more than the specific tasks assigned and make considered suggested improvements that can be made to our website and the customers web store experience
- Competently resolve basic technical issues with our WordPress website
- Understand and have experience with implementing Wordpress widgets and WooCommerce extensions to regularly improve the functionality of the e-commerce website.
- Appreciation for aesthetics and good understanding of UI best practices
- Basic / Intermediate graphic design experience is preferred
- The ability to work on your own initiative
- Have a good experience in setting up advertising (ie. Google Ads and Adsense etc)
