Backend Node.JS Developer

We are looking for a Node.js Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, implementation of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for helping to build and integrate into an API for communication to the other elements in the project.Therefore, a good understanding of front-end technologies, API’s and authentication are necessary as well. React Understanding is a super plus.

Responsibilities
- Help create an API to allow user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
- Writing highly annotated reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and high-performance applications
- Implementation of authentication, security and data protection
- Integration of data storage solutions including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
- API design and implementation
- API design in conjunction with the API development teams.
- Creating API specification
- Setup of AWS products for API

Skills And Qualifications

- Strong proficiency with JavaScript
- Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express, etc..
- Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
-Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Experience with an API Gateway framework (AWS PRODUCT LIST)
- Strong understanding of API Gateway technology with experience in implementing API Interfaces
- Experienced at building API Proxies and API Policies
- Full understanding of web security authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect
- Understanding of API based documentation standards such as Swagger or RAML
- Understanding of Microservice methodology and SOA
- Expert knowledge of REST + JSON
- Familiarity with basic networking and infrastructure design principles – Building scalable Services and API’s is desired
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile Upgrade to see actual infosktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and Bitbucket
- Understanding of DevOps and Agile concepts, experience in Pipeline tools are a plus
- Experience in container technology, Docker is a plus
- Experienced in working with infrastructure teams to set up related AWS products is a plus
- Experience in Infrastructure Integration & Deployment is a plus
- Experience in Linux distributions is a plus
- Minimum of 4 years of Development experience working with APIs and API Gateway Upgrade to see actual infocation
- Bachelors or Masters Degree or equivalent with 4 years + experience
