Full-time Journalist, Writer, Editor (Social Media, Web Content, Publishing)

Full Time Publishing and Social Media Journalism Position Available Starting Immediately

I am looking for a full time (permanent) employee to be my right-hand assistant.

This position is ideal for anyone whose command of written and spoken English is excellent, can write, and spends a lot of time online. You need to be good at MS Word, Excel, Wordpress, Facebook and social media.

We concentrate on reporting and editing (marketing) for Nonprofits/Charities/Religious organizations, especially Episcopal/Anglican Church organizations and general religious publications.

The Opportunity:
You will have the opportunity to learn and implement your expertise in all things about religious communications and publishing, both online and print.

Skills Required:
- Must be able to communicate well with an English employer (me).
- Must be able to conduct and write online and phone interviews for print and online.
- Must be able to manage an editorial calendar
- Must be able to write clean, compelling press releases.
- Must be able to manage multiple blogs
- Must be able to manage multiple in-bound e-mail queries.
- Must be able to support and provide content for four Wordpress websites.
- Must be able to transcribe English-language audio files.
- Must be able and willing to learn new things quickly.
- Must have great communication skills and be able to take instruction.
- Must be willing to take and do the grunt work right along with the more complicated and exiting projects.
- Must be a fast implementer and work on your own.

Equipment Required:

Must have a high speed internet connection, Skype, your own work area and computer.
