We are looking for a competent Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our company. You will be the one to coordinate personnel, processes, and vendors in order to make sure that all of our inventory move in time, and always under control.
We’re looking for someone who is experienced with supply management principles and practices.
The main goal of the job is to ensure cost-effective, streamlined, recorded, inventory transactions across our company.
This job is for a core management team member – we’re looking for a talented, mission-driven, hardworking individual.
Job may include:
• Understanding the needs of our company and optimizing the services we use accordingly.
• Streamlining our supply chain to optimize turnover and inventory levels according to our profitability and cash flow.
• Negotiating price quotes with 3PL & Freight companies
• Creating inventory transfer requests between warehouses.
• Creating custom reports & sending to our team members order recommendations.
• Working with suppliers to ensure a timely arrival of inventory to our warehouses.
• Working with custom brokers to ensure proper and cost-effective classifications of our inventory.
• Possibly hiring junior team members to help streamline operations.
Must Requirements:
1. Strong analytic thinking and quantitative abilities.
2. Deep understanding of supply chain handling & management.
3. Experience at logistics / Supply chain management of at least 3 years.
4. Relevant BA Degree.
5. Clear understanding of building a process, reporting and deliverables.
6. Background in an industry that deal with physical inventory.
7. Excel Mastery – controlling advanced tools and macros.
8. Understand exchange rates, multiple currencies and different cost structures.
9. Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Good to have:
1. Experience with Amazon Reporting & Shipment creation.
2. Experience working abroad / with American / Canadian / Australian company.
3. Experience working with Chinese suppliers.
4. Good experience with Inventory systems, and ERPs.
5. Experience and knowledge of taxation.
6. Decent technical abilities.
7. Decent team lead abilities.
