Basis is a brand incubator that curates end to end experiences that customers love.

We are looking for an ambitious Conversational Marketing Strategist with hands-on experience in email, SMS, and messenger campaign production. You will assist with building and managing effective automated marketing programs for our internal brands. The Conversational Marketing Strategist will assist with audits, strategy, content, and the setup of broadcast campaigns and marketing automation of the current and potential customers. The ideal candidate should have proven success building and managing a variety of conversational programs for various types of brands and have an entrepreneurial attitude. This position will report directly into the Conversational Marketing Manager.

Who you are?
Ideally, you are both technical and creative, as you’ll assist with operations of our marketing automation system and work cross-functionally with our Paid Media, Brand, Creative and Customer Service teams to execute complex and personalized campaigns. You enjoy conversational marketing and know email development well, and you also thrive on producing a flawless design. You are a perfectionist in getting emails to render flawlessly and you've worked with and enjoy building personalized emails and experiences for users.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in creating our email calendar scheduling and production process from beginning-to-end
• Understand and optimize the overall customer email lifecycle to ensure we are building a strong relationship, brand and establishing trust
• Work with paid media, brand, creative, and customer service teams to build and execute automated drip campaigns
• Write copy, design and activate newsletters
• Create and optimize list segmentation and email personalization
• Identify, track and implement meaningful tests to improve your data-driven decisions
• Stay up to date on the newest tools and tactics in email marketing Key Experiences
• Assist in executing strategies to lead our enhanced brand content, A+ content and brand Storefront rollouts

What We Look For:
• *Major advantage if you have prior SMS and/or Messenger Marketing experience
• 1-3 years’ experience in email marketing production and end-to-end campaign management
• Strong analytical and strategic copywriting skills, understanding of A/B testing practices, ability to draw conclusions from data and take action accordingly
• Hands-on experience with email platforms such as Klaviyo, MailChimp, Constant Contact or similar
• Expertise in email best practices, including segmentation, deliverability, copy and design approaches
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email coding
