Web Designer

We are looking for our next Web Designer. We are a firm located in Toronto, Ontario and we looking for a great Web Designer to join our team. Please send us your resume and examples of work that you have done.

Responsibilities include: All coding and site development work including:

? Development of sites from commercial WordPress themes

? Development of original themes from supplied design files (layered Photo Shop/Illustrator/ Sketch files), including converting PSD to HTML.

? Web Development with WordPress, including HTML5, CSS3, SASS, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap to create custom plugins and responsive design themes for clients.

? Modifying existing websites

? Ability to setup WordPress, backup sites and trouble shoot plugin compatibility.

? Developing responsive HTML emails in Mailchimp and Constant Contact.

? Ability to collaborate with creative staff and account managers

? Communication with agency clients during in person meetings, calls and email correspondence

? Optimizing existing sites for loading speeds and capacity.

Our ideal candidate has:

? Graduate from a recognized college interactive design, Computer Sciences program or technology related field preferred.

? Knowledge of current web standards and capabilities

? Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic

? Excellent English skills both written and spoken

? Ability to produce clean and well-documented code for all web projects.
