VIRTUAL ASSISTANT FOR EDUCATION CONSULTING COMPANY (AUSTRALIA)
We are looking for a top-level experienced VA who wants a long-term full-time job with an established and growing Australian business. We already work with VAs and have grown our business and now require an additional VA.
If you have experience working full-time as a VA for an established business, have great English and are used to working with business applications, we would love to hear from you.

ABOUT THE JOB:
Below is the list of tasks our current VA undertakes, as well as additional tasks that will be added in the future. Whilst training for all activities will be provided, applicants with experience working in these areas will be given preference.
• Marketing:
o LinkedIn: daily posting of articles; management of connections; management of notifications, management of group
o Research: searching for content online
o Database: management of contacts and communications
o CRM: management of contacts and campaigns
o Email: manage contact communications
• Finance:
o Xero: management of receipts, expenses, invoices and reconciliations
• Website:
o Update details as provided
o Upload documents
o Respond to queries
• Document management:
o Creating and formatting Word documents
o Transcribing videos (summarising or copying text)
• Travel:
o Book flights, accommodation, etc.
o Book facilities (rooms, catering, etc)
Email
o Daily management of email account
You will be paid for all standard public holidays in the Philippines, as well as one weeks’ holiday in the first Upgrade to see actual info the second year, you will accrue two weeks’ holiday. Payments are made twice monthly (around the 15th and the end of the month) using TransferWise.

ABOUT YOU: Please find below the list of MUST haves and SHOULD haves to successfully work with us:
• MUST HAVES:
o Excellent, professional English: This includes, speaking, writing, grammar, punctuation and all communications
o At least a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a business focused course (e.g. Business, Marketing, HR, Economics, etc.)
o The ability to follow instructions, ask questions and solve problems
o The ability to work autonomously
o The capacity of independent thought
o Fantastic attention to detail (can pick up inconsistencies and point them out)
o Focus on productivity and quality of work (wants to get the most and best job done)
o A positive, fun and optimistic personality
o A desire for a long-term job (full-time, minimum 2 years)
o Strong reliable internet
o Great computer specifications (ideally16GB RAM and i7 computer specifications) (sorry, we’re a PC household, so if you have a Mac, it won’t work for the work we need done)
o Ability to work 40 hours/week from home
o At least 8 hours/day available – we are very flexible and understand you may have family commitments (e.g. children, school, parents, etc.). As long as the work and hours are getting done, we understand you may need to make your own schedule. We are very comfortable with that.
• SHOULD HAVES:
o Experience working with various business applications, preferably Xero, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with setting up Outlook accounts strongly preferred.
o Experience working with various online applications, preferably a CRM, website development (e.g. Squarespace / Wordpress / Wix). Experience with updating content on websites strongly preferred.
o Experience working with various marketing applications (e.g. Mailchimp, LinkedIn Business, etc.)
o Experience working with social media
o Experience performing online research, including content for blogs, flight, accommodation and facilities research

After we review your application, we will conduct second round interviews, which will involve you completing some tasks for us so that we can gauge your ability. If you’re not prepared to complete these tasks, please don’t apply. Once we’ve received those tasks, we’ll interview short-listed candidates using either Skype or Upgrade to see actual info. From there, the successful applicant will be onboarded as soon as possible.

There is a 4 month probation with a salary of 30,000PHP per month. After the probation, the salary increases to 35,000PHP per month. There is also a 13th month pro-rata payment in December, all Philippine holidays and 1 week's holiday in Year 1 and 2 week's holiday from Year 2 onwards.
