Cost Accountant - E Commerce Company

We’re looking for an efficient, results-driven Cost Accountant.

Someone who understands how to calculate costs properly and the importance of updating multiple systems.

Job may include:

- Effectively calculate costs in our various systems, using multiple technical tools & reports.
- Keep costs updated in all of our system in order to support accurate business calculations.
- Support multiple countries and marketplaces.
- Support new business initiatives through identification of accounting requirements and ensure implementation of financial controls and process and system solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements; suggest and implement improvements to scale and automate manual procedures
- Work effectively on time with different team members.

Must Requirements:

- 1 year experience working as an accountant for businesses that had physical inventory.
- Understand cost accounting, worked before with companies that held inventory.
- Understand exchange rates, multiple currencies and different cost structures.

Good to have:

- 1 year of experience with QBO and is QBO certified
- Experience with Amazon Reporting
- Excel Mastery – advanced tools and macros.
- Little OCD – very organized, and delivers in a timely manner.
- Has some experience with one of the following: Sales Tax Filing, IRS Tax Filing, VAT Filing.
