JOB OVERVIEW

We are a commercial construction and real estate company based in the United States, looking for a full-time team member to help us with important daily administrative tasks. We are based on the East Coast and our office hours are from 9am to 5pm EST. We would need someone to be available during these hours Monday through Saturday. We are looking for someone who has EXCELLENT WRITING and ENGLISH SPEAKING skills. A strong work ethic and positive attitude will go far in this position. This position requires the following skills and technical abilities:

Skills:
* Excellent verbal communication skills in English. A majority of time will be spent making phone calls to subcontractors, vendors and internal employees in the US.
* Professional writing (also in English) via email or formal letters.
*Proficiency in MS Office programs. Excel and Word will be the most utilized.
*Familiarity with Google Shared Documents.
*Ability to use basic cloud software. Dropbox hosts most of our shared data and documents.
*Familiarity with Google Calendar and iCalendar to help manage schedules, schedule meetings and set-up conference calls.
*Basic project management skills. You will be given small tasks and projects and be expected to complete these with minimal supervision.
*Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively. We will require daily updates on progress of certain tasks and some projects may require working with several other employees/departments to be successful.
*Positive attitude and solution-oriented approach.

Technical Abilities
*It would be great if you have experience in updating websites. We have Squarespace for our Company website and need to keep it updated with current projects.
*Computer set-up with MS Office and access to Google Docs/PDF Software/Dropbox, etc.
*Conference call and messaging software - Skype, Google Chat/Hangouts, Chat Software

Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
* Phone calls to local vendors and subcontractors to procure pricing on various construction projects. This will be a majority of your responsibility, so you really need to have excellent spoken English skills and ability to have a complex conversation in a professional setting.
* Tracking progress and providing updates in spreadsheets and shared documents.
* Sending blueprints and documents to vendors/subcontractors via email through Dropbox.
* Coordinating site logistics, including temporary facilities, trash containers and rental equipment
* Ability to multi-task. You will be working on multiple projects at a time and will need to track progress on each of Upgrade to see actual infopensation:
* We pay twice a month based on a fixed salary amount.
* We process payments via Paypal and cover the cost of their processing fee!
* We offer paid time off for major US Holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day) for employees that have more than 6 months service with us.
