JOB OVERVIEW

Dear Web Developers,

My name is Dominic Murray and I am the CEO of Cameron James.

We provide financial advice to Expatriates living in 23 countries.

My website (Upgrade to see actual info) has already been built. So I am looking for a skilled WordPress developer to help maintain the website and continue working with me on new ideas and pages.

You must have an in-depth understanding of:

WordPress - Navigating WordPress backend, creating new pages, fixing errors etc
Google Analytics - Being able to monitor Google Analytics and report back to me on traffic, conversion ratios etc
Communication - You must be able to communicate clearly in English. Written (emails) and verbally (video/audio calls)

I also use many tools such as HotJar to monitor UX to understand how we can improve this. I would like to complete A/B testing and improve website speed. Effectively, you will be monitoring all aspects related to the website and reporting directly to me.

I already employ an SEO management company who runs all of my campaigns so you would not need to be an SEO expert but must have an understanding of SEO so that I can involve you in any website-related questions or proposed changes from the SEO firm.

I have been told that I am a good Boss to work for. I work hard and ensure all my staff are learning new skills and developing within their roles. I also reward people with additional bonuses for good work.

I am only looking for someone who is committed to forming a long term working relationship and making themselves an essential part of our team. Should you perform well in your role, I can offer job security for 5-10 years.

I already have VA’s in the Upgrade to see actual infoom my experience of using Online Jobs, I received a large number of applications. To make your application stand out to me, please start your message with “Dominic you would be crazy not to hire me as your Web Developer as I…..”

When applying include a summary of:

What do you like about the website and its design/UX
What do you dislike about the website and its design/UX
If I gave you one month to work on the website - what pages/areas/ideas would you like to improve and work on?

You can submit the above summary task in whatever format you wish - written PDF document, presentation format, video recording, onscreen recording. This is up to you. I want you to stand out and show your initiative and that you can think for yourself and have new ideas for improvement as we work together.

I look forward to reading your applications. I will be in touch to organise your first-round interview if I am impressed with your application.

Have a great day!

Regards
Dominic
