Accountant - Ecommerce / Amazon Store

E-Commerce Bookkeeper

1) CPA qualified
2) Have at least 1 years experience working virtually (non office)

The position requires at present approximately 20-30 hours per month in total, with a weekly split estimated below:

Week 1 of month - 12
Week 2 of month - 4
Week 3 of month - 2
Week 4 of month - 4

This position has the potential to increase in hours as the business expands rapidly over the next 6 months.

Hourly rate - $4ph

About the Company

The Company is a fast-growing e-commerce operation which has been trading (in the gift market) for the past 2 years, selling in the USA, Canada, UK through Amazon and Etsy platforms.

The next 12 months is an exciting time for the business – and is expected to continue to grow.

Personal Specifications

? At least 2 years accounting / bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks experience preferable)
? Expert and efficient with excel
? Amazon experience is desirable
? English – advanced (fluent).
? Motivated, driven and maintains high standard of work
? Positive, can-do attitude
? Excellent attention to detail


Duties

? Weekly Reporting
? Inventory
o Creation of the re-order sheet every 2 weeks
? Monthly Close:
o Preparation of the monthly analytical report for the CEO
o Maintenance of the Quickbooks module – entering all transactions from the previous month, reconciling
o Creation of journals including Revenue and Cost of Sales
? Adhoc:
o UK VAT return
o Reimbursement calculation from amazon (every 3 months)
