Content Writer with a Video Knack

Looking for a long-term content manager, writer and creator to handle the editorial workflow of CX Global Media. Must be SEO-minded and creative with an interest in video as well. Contact Center experience a major plus.

Our video-first content with repurposing and new content will be supported by pillar and cornerstone content. All content is to support the ultimate goal of inbound lead generation.

Tasks
- content writing - given the article brief, write a comprehensive and factual blog post
- video editing and reposing
- keyword research - find keywords and hashtags to target with our upcoming content
- finding targeted content ideas - based on client need, develop article ideas
- competitor research - find ways to improve and beat content by competitors
- linking - insert internal and external links in articles
- editing, formatting and SEO - edit the article to make it SEO and reader-friendly
- proofing - make sure there are no grammar mistakes and nothing’s missing

Requirements
- Excellent English skills: written, read, spoken
- WordPress & Yoast SEO Skills
- Timeliness and meets deadline schedule
- Positive and willing to help attitude
- Video editing skills

Some basic writing guidelines include:
- Understanding viewer and reader psychology
- Skilled at including CTAs
- Easy to consume sentences (no more than 20 words)
- Paragraphs should be 3-4 sentences long
- Include a short intro to capture interest to engage the reader
- Make use of keyword variations and close synonyms
- Understanding of linking strategies
