Job Title: Remote Systems Administrator
Reports To: Daniel Cohen, President of TexPC Solutions, LLC

• The role of the Remote Systems Administrator is to remotely support our small to medium-sized clients with their IT needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Hours of business: 8:00am – 5:00pm CST Monday to Friday
• May be required to work occasional weekends
• Communicate ideas in English verbally and in writing in both technical and jargon-free language to non-technical clientele
• Provide remote, accurate technical solutions for a defined scope of customer issues, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, including troubleshooting and third-party application issues
• Work with Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
• Work independently and on a collaborative team on assigned technical projects
• Complete daily time logs for documentation of work completed
• Conduct research into systems issues and products
• Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Our Ideal Candidate
• The desire to grow and increase responsibilities with a small business that plans to aggressively scale up our services and client base
• Degree in computer science or information systems
• Experience supporting: Windows Operating systems including Server 2012/2016/2019, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and Android/iOS systems for minimum of three years
• Proven experience in supporting, maintaining, and monitoring infrastructure components and services (AD, DNS, DHCP, Hypervisors, SAN, LAN, WAN, Networking, WLAN, Office 365, printing, and domain security)
• Basic knowledge of Azure and AWS services
• Ability to analyze and implement OS patches, hot fixes, updates, virus protection and spyware removal
• Basic experience with core software applications, finance, HR, Payroll, ticketing
• Excellent software/hardware troubleshooting experience
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities to diagnose and correct system problems
• Strong customer service commitment, preferably in a remote and Help Desk environment
